I managed to actually spend a whole day today in Broadstone, a 3 minute journey!
First appointment was at the superb Franco's Restaurant . This was a small gathering of local members of the Federation of Small Businesses where Michael Tomlinson, MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole was visiting in support of Small Business Saturday. It was good to have a chat with him about some of our issues. Also met some local traders.

With an hour to wait before the start of the Broadstone Christmas Parade I decided to take up an offer from Jen and Jan who run Good Vibrations in the Junction health centre. Wow! 10 minutes on the machine and certainly felt like a workout but have to admit my back (carrying cameras round my neck has taken it's toll!) felt a lot better after. Yes will be returning. Apparently it may help with reducing certain areas which seem to wobble a little excessively!
Next up was the Broadstone Christmas Parade. I haven't covered this since my kids stopped being in it. It was really good to see all the participants and a great turnout from the people of Broadstone. A very Christmassy atmosphere and all the kids seemed to be having a great time. All the photos have been now put on the website.
Of course I should of then gone home for a hot Christmas Toddy but it was a cup of tea, Mince pie and 2 hours of editing !
A lovely day in Broadstone
