The LemonGrove
The Lemongrove (or as it was then `The Lemongrove Plating Co`, taken from an advert seen on the side of a l930s racing car) continued to grow in popularity and success supporting some popular names on the jazz festival circuit such as George Melly, Courtney Pine, Barbara Dennerlein to mention a few.

Lost at Sea
Alan Hunter is the creative core of Lost At Sea - he writes the songs, and delivers the emotional drive when the band plays. His singing and his rhythm guitar have a rare melodic power which lifts the band miles above the norm. Alans lyrics are impressive and frequently autobiographical revisiting his Geordie roots in Newcastle as evidenced on the bands upcoming release Songs from Greatcoat Days. Alans influences range from Free to Lucinda Williams via Richard Thompson et al!! Originally Alan formed Heartland, who gigged for a number of years and built up a loyal following, but imploded with the loss of bass player Alan Still. Chris and Alan later founded Lost At Sea The name not only comes from the fact that we are based in Poole, but also it's kind of how we feel about our lives most of the time!
