What a superb weekend we have just had ! Friday afternoon saw us visiting the New Milton Junior School. Always an enjoyable afternoon with the studio photography being very popular. This year a number of girls from another school visited and numerous group poses !
For Friday night, a short drive to Milford on Sea following an invitation to attend the Jazz Club from James, the band leader of The Red Fez Orchestra. Windmill Community Swing Band opened the evening with a number of great renditions of Swing band classics followed by The Red Fez Orchestra.
This was the first time I had seen the full band. They are superb. Not only great music from the earlier part of 20 century but also a brief introduction to each tune from James or Howard and sometimes both providing an element of cabaret to the proceedings. You'll have to go and see them to understand the Red Fez element! After two encores for The Red Fez Orchestra I made my way home.
Saturday took me down to Bridport for the lovely Wedding of Gem and Daniel. Bridal prep contained all the usual elements plus snakes, lizards and Tortoises ! with the Ceremony and Reception at the beautiful Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens. You could spend hours doing Bridal Modelling in this lovely part of Dorset but we had to get back for a sumptuous BBQ. More details on this lovely Wedding when we publish it for Gem and Daniel.
Sunday found me at the Riviera Hotel, Bournemouth covering the Recce of a forthcoming Wedding and then over to Studland for a coffee in the sun followed by a torrential downpour.
After the rain I managed to complete a gorgeous Pre-Wedding shoot for Sally and Richard. A lovely couple and very easy to work with.
Then home for Sunday Roast and week containing a lot of editing !
